Metrics
Monitor render volume, performance, and errors across your organization.
Use Metrics in the Format dashboard to monitor render volume, performance, and errors across your organization.
Select a date range
Choose a preset or select a custom range on the calendar. All ranges use UTC dates and include both the start and end date.
| Preset | Included dates |
|---|---|
| Today | The current UTC day. |
| Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days | The selected number of days, including today. |
| Last 6 months | From the first day of the month five months ago through today. |
| Last 12 months | From the first day of the month 11 months ago through today. |
Presets update when the UTC date changes, including while the page is open. A shared link to Last 7 days shows the latest seven days when opened.
To review or share a specific period, select its start and end dates on the calendar. Custom ranges stay fixed and can cover up to a year.
Reporting time
Metrics are reported in UTC, so everyone in your organization sees the same reporting periods regardless of their time zone.
Select UTC beside the date picker to see your time zone and the local start and end times of the current UTC day. For example, October 1 in UTC runs from October 1 at 9am to October 2 at 9am in Asia/Tokyo (UTC+9).
Today follows the UTC date, which may differ from your local date. The selected label includes the date, such as Today · Oct 1.
Chart data
Ranges of up to three days show hourly data. Longer ranges show daily or monthly data. Hourly tooltips display both UTC and your local time to help you match chart activity to individual renders.
On daily and monthly charts, the current day or month is labeled so far. The request volume chart also uses a dashed line for this period. Keep its partial totals in mind when comparing it with completed periods.
Totals can change after a day ends if render events arrive late.
History and retention
Your organization's retention setting applies to individual renders, their events, and their tags. Usage totals in Metrics remain available after that history is deleted.
